my bro just picked up this all original sandstone metallic (LE1V) 81 rabbit S. we just got back from lookin at it and OH MAN!!! ITS FREEKIN PERFECT! 100% rust free! interior is perfect!. oh man! its sweet! the only thing it needs is for the motor and trans to be put back in. other then that its perfect!

best part: $300.00 /w a storage unit full of parts

ok, ok, you did the sparking of interest part, now lets see this, its hard to belive there are such good examples of rabbits anymore... everyone i find is thrashed, i know where there is a 78, seems straight but man is it in bad shape....

well as its late, and dark, and my digi cam is missin its card. i wont have pics untill tomorrow. they will be cell pics but at 1.3 megapixel they should do.

not an original TD. that was added by the PO. my bro found it in the paper and swooped it up. cant wait to drop that 16v in
