What are your plans with her now? by the way, if you're considering getting a new hatch, why not just sand down your current one and see what the damage is? you'd have to sand down a new one for paint anyhow.

I'm pulling out the old heater core to replace it because the outlet on my old one broke.
The rust in the center of my hatch goes all the way through and I filled it with silicon so it wouldn't leak on my sub. I don't think I have the skillz to fix that. I am by no means a body guy

Me either. I'll do some research and see if I can find a hatch in Butte or Helena for you

So I got the heater core all done. It all went pretty smooth I think I had about four hours total time in it.
Pro tip. If you have to remove break off bolts. Don't waste your time drilling them out. Take a sharp punch and put a dent in the head of the bolt. Then angle the punch in the dent and spin the bolt out. Image I hope that makes sense. I just kept reading DIYs and everyone kept saying drill them out and my way is much faster. So I thought I would try and spread the good word.

Nice job, and I'm stoked to have that pro tip. You replace them with a nut/bolt? Or just don't worry about em.

I put normal hex head bolts back in. I'm not to worried about someone trying to steal my steering column. Unless anyone has a different reason that break off bolts should be used.

Does anyone have an extra obd2 vr6 throttle body and intake manifold they would be willing to part with?
