That pump is evil! made me laugh for sure! Have you blown out the fuel lines with air? to check for blockages?

Maybe take the line off the tank and try to blow some air back into the tank. There may be something obstructing the outlet from sitting so long. Just a thought.

Yeah for sure, it's like 90% there, just need some time and a little warmer weather. Soon enough it wil be rolling!
Aeron, I put those wheels on and they fit. They are pretty nice so I'm going to rock them until I get some flow and then it's getting dropped low. Any idea on what the back spacing is on those? I send you some cash here in a couple of days...

I am wondering if the regulator in that fuel distributor is causing the issue. I managed to get my other fuel pressure tester returned so I can dead head the pump easily now. I could loan you the tester to rule out the regulator.

Randy, it could be. I still need to pull that return line off and blow some air though it and make sure it's not clogged up with crud.
I'd borrow that tester for sure, it's so close to running properly and there's just one little thing that's wrong and it's bugging the crap out of me.

Mike, pics or they don't fit! The backspacing might be listed on the back of the wheel, on one of the spokes. I think the standard Mk3 offset is 35mm. Those would have come on a Mk3 Jetta GT 2.0. I say throw some lower profile tires on it, and slam that biznitch! And good job on sticking with the FI problems! You are a trooper!

Ah yeah, finally got some time to get it out of the garage and power wash it a bit.
Aeron, proof!!

Cleaned up pretty well:

Bed is straight, surface rust:

These are the Western Wheels I may consider trading for snowflakes or something similar. They are pretty cool actually, with some tires, they could tuck nicely. Finding some 13" tires to give a good stance may be a trick:
