need help need gti back

OK,

so i broke an long axle( right side) on my gti and replaced it for a about a month,until that one broke( to long i guess) well my problem is that the axle i disposed of needs to be measured, apparently this year uses two different size axles a 90mm or a 100mm does anyone know how i can find out which one is the one i need.Like a vin code or motor size or what not, Please help i have to get one on friday I NEED MY VW

You will just need to measure the output of the transmission. The part that the axle bolts to.

Don't quote me but if it is a GTi it should be the 100mm.

why not just measure it? one will be 90mm and the other will be 100mm.

What motor? CE1 or 2 Is it an 89?

Now that I thought about it just measure the opposite axle end. ( the shorter one)

the og axle has been crushed in a truck over a month ago.

the only way you can tell is by measuring.
