Yah, I thought about that as well. Mainly, I was just giving kompressorgolf a hard time as he said he'd pop out once I took the door cards off ...

just give the heel of your palm, should take care of it for the most part!. or if there is room enough, work in circles from the outside to the inside with a body hammer. or swing it out.

Will do. Gave it a half-assed effort this weekend. I'll try again tonight maybe.

I'll get out there again once I get new rubber. I'm looking at between $400 and $500 for tires. :banghead:
Me thinks getting some 16 inche BBS wheels down the road will make the tire buying a little less painful.

The wheel is 17x7. I had been looking for a 215/45. It seems to be the most common, though I know other sizes fit ...

That would be most excellent. Thank you! :)

In other news, did a bit more work on the e28 tonight ...

Both grilles came off. I'm debating on painting the used ones I have or just run them as is.
The intake bellow has an air valve for any moisture, so I hooked that up to the collector.
BOTH passenger doors now have exterior handles. :unibrow:
I managed to find several wires with orphaned plugs that I feel like I should identify. The car runs like a top otherwise, but when I find a few errant wires and plugs and/or sockets that go to nowhere, I get curious.
As to the dent mentioned earlier, it wouldn't pop on its own. I tried getting a bit Western with a large wrench and that didn't yield good results. :banghead: So I think I'll need a shop to do a PDR.

She's coming along!

No worries. Thanks again for checking. 17s are already a little big in some people's eyes.

But do keep your eyes peeled. Anyway I can save on tires, I'm good!
