Nope, never had to deal with kingpins myself. All I know is guys looking for Dana 60's always say to avoid the kingpin ones because they're not work messing with. I'll have to ask my brothers and see if they've messed with any. I know they've always passed on the kingpin Dana 60's.

Coated the cab floor with POR-15 today:

Pre cleanup:

Use the Marine Clean to degrease and clean the surface, then use the Metal Ready to etch the surface:

Post cleanup and metal prep:

After the POR-15:

Used about half of the 1 pint of POR-15 for the floor and firewall. Molded rubber floor will be here next week.

Did you order your POR-15 online, or find it locally?

I found it locally at a place called NCS over on Central Ave. They have any auto body repair and detailing things you would ever need, and they guy who helped me was super helpful. I like finding local places like this that actually care about what they sell and care about the customer. I still want to go in a just browse a little more...

Looks Great Mike! Another good local place is Mountain PBE Supply
211 S24th. Also very helpful I use both of these guys.

Thanks Matt!

Since I needed to get it out of the driveway to make room for the bus, I had to finish up the floor and get the seat belts back in, and reinstall the shifters - I threw in a couple of cheap floor mats too:

Floor installed, just a few small wrinkles and creases that should smooth out over time

Just a few interior bits left to finish this off.
