BMW MAF for digifant??

I have heard that there are BMW MAFs that will work with digifant. They have bigger openings and flow better. I heard that slapping it on a stock motor will make very little difference and they will only help if there are other mods done to the engine. At what point is it beneficial to move up to the bigger MAF. I plan on porting and polishing from the TB to the exhaust manifold and running a euro GTI cam. Wondering if anyone has any info on the subject.

Ive heard this will work as well, should go nice with a euro cam and some polished goodies!
