here is my build thread

well the rocco is goin under the knife soon. i just put in an order for tie rods, ball joints, new empi 100mm axles, and poly upper strut bushings front and rear.

the old brown 79 rabbit is gonna be parted out, donating its .71 5th, reverse, front struts/springs (lower/stiffer), cross drilled and vented rotors, radiator, and its 4-1 race header.

at the same time the hoodride its getting power brakes, new pedal cluster and steering column.

progress will begin once parts start to show :thumbsup:

awsome! But ive heard that poly bushings aren't that great.

yea, im not lookin for ride quality here, i would like to track this car more then anything. that and its already got poly every were else :unibrow:

sweet! that is a sick car, i love its stock body lines and stripes, it should be awesome, the poly bushings are a win lose type thing, youll feel every vibration from everything, but it will be one solid ride, well worth the extra filling loss :mrgreen:

She still looks great Kev. Glad to hear those parts rolled in today. I miss that car but who cares. I've got another! Haha.

so true, the guy i sold my beloved kompressor to has it in a heated garage until he returns from afghanistan in 14 months and hes never had a single problem with it and it looks brand new still, it really helps me sleep at night just i little better. :nod:

well looks like they 1/2 my parts will be here before the weekend.

as for a real update the brown 79 2 door is back in my hands. I just talked to my dad and he said i could work on my cars at his place :thumbsup: :mrgreen:
mmm...... 2 stall tuck under garage w/ AC and any tool i ever wanted :mrgreen:
