The bad...

Mk3 dash was installed terribly, so I ripped it out and discovered the horror that is this steering column. I will be welding the stock mk2 mounts back in and doing a proper job of making this swap right. I also need to replace the petal cluster (its custom garbage too). Luckily, I have most of these parts handy.

Strangely enough, the person that installed this did a decent job on wiring. Only had to fix a few things here and there. I'll post a pic of the awful steering column soon.

Can you go back to a mk2 dash? Heater working?

I plan on doing just that. The heater is on all the time right now, the only control you have is the fan. no vent selection or anything. and its mk3 crap. I just pulled the dash and all the switches with wires I'll need out of the parts mk2 today.

I will have to pull the entire hvac box and related vacuum and cable stuff out tomorrow or Saturday. I'm going to make this coupe right if it kills me.
