Oldskool cal-look bug

Post by vwhess »

Ive owned this for awhile but unfortunately just picked up a 58 and 57....So I need the money for those

oldschool ragtop bug, slammed roofrack, OMPI, scat, etc

REDUCED!!!! $3500
Bug is very clean
no major rust to speak of
floorpans intact and solid
new carpet kit
scat shifter with reverse lockout
4 speed tranny(3-3500rpm @70mph)
1600 dual carb
OMPI exhaust/chrome
wide wheels in the rear and skinnies in the front
IRS in the rear
adj. front beam
new front and rear bumpers
Original roofrack(will throw in for a little extra...otherwise keeping for my `57)
popouts
ragtop in very good condition
all seals are almost new(no leaks anywhere)
front discs(brand new rotors and pads)
new tie-rods(drives like a dream
shocks were replaced with GT-2 gas shocks(handles very well compared to any other lowered bugs Ive driven)
new door cards
digital guages(all work except for speedo)

Bads:
blinkers dont work
PO started to put an alarm in
Drivers inner seal out of door(was hanging up on the window when rolled up)
wiring could use some help(rear running light is spliced and occasionally goes out)
couple small surface rust areas(doesnt keep the car from looking or driving well(i drive it almost daily)
speedo doesnt work
passenger wiper isnt hooked up(arm came loose)

$3500 OBO
