I think the lid will be stepped out a few inches.

Sorry for the lack of updates and documentation on this project.......... Im a bad forum user

In a nut shell:
Sub frame finished and painted
Radiator mounted on swing-out bracket
Fuel tank inspected and filled with diesel
Basic wiring added to motor for alternator and fuel cutoff
Built bomb proof battery tray with 1/4" steel
Installed brand-spanking-new Optima Blue Top deep cycle marine starting battery
Started fabbing exhaust

But if a picture is worth a thousand words, a video must be worth at least a couple hundred



This was a cold start. Its amazing what a fresh set of glow plugs will do. Still needs muffler, but downpipe is built so I figured I was okay to run for a few minutes.



She's geared like a tractor, brakes hardly work and I need tires and fans. Still got a long ways to go, but thats a big deal to me right there.
