Re: Jd3 ninja 16v
had the the rotisserie engine stand extension fabricated a little to tall. I wanted the edge of the car to be about foot - two foot off the ground. ended up being about three. oh well.. time to get grindin.

Re: Jd3 ninja 16v
That is awesome! I am getting ready to scrape and under coat the GTI. So a rotisserie would be the way to go. I may just have to fab one up. Thanks for the inspiration.

Re: Jd3 ninja 16v
i know mk 1 shells are alot lighter.. do a search on the whoretex for rotisserie. people have detailed prints of wood ones you can make. plus with mk 1 s you can just attach your support straight to the bumpers. if im done with mine your welcome to use it. but it does need to be shortened.

Re: Jd3 ninja 16v
Nope not yet. But thanks for giving me nightmares about stripping the bottom of a car. I am about to do that to my GTI. What are you using to strip it. I hear that soaking in WD40 works, I also heard that oven cleaner works too.
