That sounds more like a CV to me too.

same beast back in late 90's early 00's.
I bought her in 96' w 67k on it...

nice to see she is still alive
-and yes, maybe CV...
-wheel bearings didn't last long either on that...
and i think i replaced a hub or two... , after doing the bearings 1st, only to realize it was the hub that was screwed. not the bearing

Went to start the Rocco yesterday just to let it run for a bit. Turned the key and it started right up

. I haven't started it in over a month. Good to hear it run again too.

Worked on the Rocco this weekend. Rebuilt the front brakes, one calipers seals were fairly dry and had cracked. Pulled the dash off, found the short in the clock/radio/cigarette lighter/interior light curcuit, one wire rubbed through. Also found a loose wire coming from the blower motor, hooked it back up and it works now

. Decided to try to fix up the cracks in the dash as well as possible, almost done. Taking the dash off makes working on the wiring so much more easy.

I still love that car. Haven't been in it that I can think of since you came and got it.

Didn't take before pics. you can still see the cracks but they are better. Fixed the glove box, stays open(thank you JB weld).

I used black silicone then buffed it down with some 220, and then used vinyl paint. I read it on some forum. They do make a specific filler for the dash cracks, but it is pricey. Next time I'll buy the good stuff.
