Nice score on that GTI. I just picked up a 92 GTI 8v.
I will have an extra 8v that came with my 92 GTI.
I call dibs on the rims if you put them up for sale! ;)

One of the rims are bent. Has anyone tried any of the places that say they can straighten a rim?

I don't really have any wheels to sell, but I am always up for seeing what people want to trade.

I wasn't talking about trading you, I was talking to 76 Scirocco for those BBS! :unibrow:

Not sure yet on the tears. Can't sell them until I get those BBS from JD3 and some adapters to go with them. I'll let you know though.

I would trade the bent up BBS for the teardrops. I will get you some better picutures of their current condition if you are interested.

I went to work getting the GTI roadworthy last night and had a nice suprise. My $600 beater has a set of H&R coilovers on it. I knew they were coilovers, but I figured it was some cheapies. It also has a pair of Autotech stress bars.

It has some home made short shift setup that won't let me into 5th so I still have to check into that, but I did get new axles and rear brakes and wheel bearings on it. Hopefully it will be at the autocross on Sunday. Won't be aligned yet, but it should still be fun to try it out.

I need to research it, but I am pretty sure it's not the right engine for this car. It has CIS-E style injection and I am pretty sure the 92 should be motronic. It seems to run well, I am just not sure what all has been done to this poor car.
