All of my VW stuff to give away is packed away. I was going to bring a kick ass product book I created but I can't find it either.

had a wonderful :banghead: weekend with the rabbit. started out innocent enough, had to re-locate the intake air temperature sensor due to heat-soak reasons, as well as re-wire the TPS sensor. So i removed the fuel rail, injectors, throttle body, top half of intake manifold etc. changed what needed to be changed and put it all back together. turned the key fuel pump primed, went to start it, the engine turned one turn then stopped like it was hitting valves, got out went to turn the engine by hand, wouldnt turn (getting pissed/nervous at this point) so removed plug wires/plugs, used alot of effort to turn motor, bam old faithful of gas out cylinders 1 and 2, deflect off hood and into my eyes/face hair chest etc. (real pissed now) fired up the compressor hooked up air nozzle dried out cylinders/plugs install all again. try to start, starts runs on 2 cylinders. shut it off waited a few tried to start again. engine turns once stops again. (very pissed) remove plugs/wires again. turn engine very slowly to remove gas, PLOOM old faithful cylinders 1/2 deflect hood into eyes/face again. (extremely pissed eyes on fire (super plus)) throw ratched (breaks creeper) go inside shower and mellow out dring 5th of jack with friends. wake up next morning lay in bed. thinking. okay plan, go outside clean yesterdays mess, and begin removing everything i took off before. intake manifold comes off, here is my #1 injector harnes crushed flat as a pancake between the two halves :banghead: / relief. repaired wiring re-installed everything starts back up runs great whew! check oil, holy shit. drain 4.5 quarts of oil and 5 quarts super plus from oil pan, dump in new 20-50 runs great let it warm up go for a drive, with the TPS wired right car runs MUCH better this feels good! lets see what shes got 1st gear spins then gains traction hit second KABOOM crunch crunch crunch. open hood see EXPLODED drivers side drive shaft :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: tow home *(with a taurus) <---- :banghead: get new drive shaft install, lower car, go to drive car doesnt move, (hub bound against wheel bearing housing) :banghead: raise car remove said d-shaft grind down un-necesary flange on drive shaft re-install check before lowing, okay lower car. and now its okay again and i can  at myself for this massive head-ache, i  mk1's :o

^its harder than it looks^ but i like where this is going  this will make incredible torque down low but will flaten out up top. start researching small pullies, or take it off and have a smaller one machined.

edit* what did that come out of? looks like one of the GM ones? grand prix GTP?

Yesterday actually but, JD3 and I figured out what happened to the rear fill of the stereo. The rear 6s weren't working. Turns out the crossovers were broken, the tweeters worked but the coiled up wire part in side the crossovers was completely broken off on one side and half way off the other side. I soldered them back on and one broke immediately. I bypassed the crossover on the 6s for now, so everything works again. :) I may need to look into getting better crossovers. lol Of course none of this was too easy to get to, you stereo installers must be way more flexible than I am. Thanks for the help JD3
