Sweet! That's probably exactly the issue.

Pulled apart the dash and replaced a couple of bulbs, didn't see any issues with the cluster, although I need to do more research on the problem and how to fix the temp light.

Installed the small duckbill spoiler.

Picked up some bed rails from a vortexer, and bolted those on - still getting used to them, they are OEM and came on the Black Tie Edition Rabbit Pickups.

Ok I found the problem with the temp light. I have a sender for a temp gauge, not a dummy light. I found the correct sender on Rockauto for $2.75, so I bought all they had in stock...two, lol. So that will be replaced!

The Caddy got me out of a small jam the other day when the Tahoe battery decided to take a dive. Hooked up the jumper cables from the Caddy to the Tahoe, and it fired up. Kind of a karma thing...because the Tahoe is what dragged it out of the back yard, hence another VW saved.

Awww, it looks like two old dubs hooked up and made a new Tahoe!

Drove the Caddy a bit and noticed the inside of the windows were fogging up and it smelled like coolant, blech. Ordered up a new heater core from RockAuto and changed that out on Sunday. Pretty straight forward, but it was much easier after I unbolted the heater box and was able to twist it a little so I could get the nasty old core out.

I also started to build my ECU wiring harness from the ECU and OBD2 harnesses I scored at the junkyard. More updates on that later.
