I think that midrif was lucky. Just in time for christmas, I got a call from the owner today. And she's mine! :grinsanta: I'm heading home for a few weeks to teach ski and snowboard lessons while I eat my mom's home cooking, but I'll be picking her up sometime early January when I get back. Merry Christmas to me, oh, and you too.

Hmm, what about a navy roof and accents?
Image

Maybe with some accents on the top of the fenders like this, but not quite as fat and a bit more swoopy.

Mouse nest that blew out the tail pipe on initial start up, smelled like a turd with burnt hair on it.

This Saturday Brandon, Matt, Kevin, and I towed the blue squareback home. We got it running the first night! The carbs need cleaning and the gas tank needs drained and cleaned, but she fires up. Not bad for sitting for 16 years. Sunday I washed all the moss off the paint while it was warm out, and we changed plugs and the fuel filter. Her first drive was awesome, even though she died 3 times, we needed to stop for a pee break anyway.

Next up after the carbs and gas tank are cleaned and she's running better, I'll prep and paint the spare set of stealies. I still need to track down some lower profile tires for when we drop the suspension.

Thanks again for all the help fellas.

Check the picture link, there's a picture of the hood halfway washed so you can see the difference. Pressure washer worked great.
