I think I'm going to be able to make it. Let's hope so! Anybody can stay at our house as well. We've got an extra two rooms and a lots of other space.

if you guys want, I have a fairly decent sized backyard, or if you join us for the after-party, you can probably set up a tent at JP's House. (The person who organized this with me). I am also posting this on DakotaDubs.com today as well, so hopefully we can draw more attention from over there.

JP and I are also working to get a deal for people who want to attend at the Marriot hotel. One of our good friends works there, and hopeully his fully built N/A LS/Vtec will be in his CRX by then. It should be pretty sweet. There's another one of our friends who is actually having his turb'd civic hatch painted this weekend, just for the event.

I was contemplating trying to inform a magazine or two about the event, and seeing if someone from one would like to ride in my car, or whoevers for that matter, but I think I am going to reserve it for next year.

As far as next year's plans go, we will hopefully have a website up and running just for the event, and we are hoping to make it a 2 day event with a Show and Go at the track on a Saturday, and then a cruise on Sunday, but it is still in the works. Depending on how many people we get this year will determine whether or not we try to get some sponsors. We want to make this an event that grows every year, and something to look forward to annually.

Ok guys, I am int he works on getting some t-shirts made. I was wondering if $12 bucks would be too much to charge for t-shirts that read "Beartooth Run '07" across the front, have a Montana state outline on the left sleeve, and either a mountain on the back with a road kind of wrapping around/winding up it with some other mountains, or something along the lines of "1 Highway, 11,000 feet, Lots of Beer"

I think it all depends on how much its going to cost to get the shirts made. But $12 does sounds reasonable. I wish I could make this but I got to go home before then. Should be fun.

I was thinking about just selling them at the meet, that way everyone could be there, get them in person, and shipping, payment, etc wont be a hassle.

Next year we plan on making it a 2 day event (show & go Saturday and the run on that Sunday), and in leui of doing so we are also planning on making a website where decals, shirts, hats, possibly lanyards can be ordered. Depending on the size of this year's event we are going to possibly try to get some coverage next year along with sponsorships for the event. We are hoping to make it Montana's largest import themed event, more or less for the racing and the run up the pass, but we also intend on having an area to display your vehicle, but it will probably not be a judged competition, more or less a "this is my car, check it out if you'd like" sort of thing. Hopefully this will all go as planned, and after this event we are going to start working on next year.
