Re: Corrado
So, anyone want to listen to the Corrado sound? I dunno what a bad CV joint sounds like. I was thinking its an axle.

Re: Corrado
i got an axle going bad, i can grab it and rotate it with my hand, and there is a clunk back and forth, just waiting to grenade axle #3 rotate them with your hands, and watch the cv conector on the tranny. one of those could be stress cracked to. it could be the most simple thing. i thought you said your 3rd hear was wobbleing on the shaft?

Re: Corrado
The third gear is fixed. It now makes a really noticeable clicking sound at low speeds, in gear or not, clutch in or out, engine on or off, still makes the sound. It is very loud when you are coasting down a steep hill with the brakes applied at about 25mph. It changes click frequency with speed.

Re: Corrado
check to make sure they tightened all the drive-shaft bolts, the 8mm triple squares, sounds maybe like they forgot one and the bolt fell out. and the "U" washer that spans from bolt to bolt is slapping the case. i messed up that way with the G60 golf once, cut a nice washer width slot into the case
