HOly crap!! Do you date a 400 pound gorilla?! No offence to her of course, but that thing is mangled. Everything you have there that is broken should have a VW part number on it. It will look like 000 000 000 A. Three sets of three numbers and a letter. Get all those parts, adn see if you can find a good VW parts guy(brandon comes to mind

) and they may be able to find them. Some of them may not be available by themselves though. You just have to keep looking! Good luck!

Did you take pics before you took it apart? It's gonna be hard to put that mess back together without a reference of some sort.

That is probably sold as an assembly so I bet you wont find part #'s on each part, although I could be wrong. Good man on taking before shots - maybe we can piece it together and get it working. Have you found any junkyard seats? You could grab the parts that you need to replace from it.

Yea, i went to dana today and he told me it is sold only as an assembly- i tried all of those junkyards you told me the other day mike - i found a seat for 150 and 100 dollars in shipping - it'd be 250 all said and done - he would not sell me the piece under it - which makes sense - so.. i guess i am at a loss - the dana motor guy told me to try jb weld...
i figured what could it hurt...
any more ideas?

The seat is fixed!! JB weld did the trick - it took a couple times of breaking for it to hold up. who knows how long it will hold up, in the mean time the seat is back in the car and people can now ride up front with me again =)
is it possible that the car is more balanced now? feels better around corners and just daily driving !?
