Euro Sunday Missoula?

Post by Rennwagen1 »

SO I was turned onto this by a new guy around here named Shane, he said that he went to the last meeting and there were two euro cars at this euro show. Thier nexxt meeting/cruise is going to be Oct 5th. I say we get all of our "euro" cars together and go rock this. Anyone else insterested?

Okay, edit, I just realised that I might be out of town that weekend, but I am not sure. Man this summer was quick!

I still think we should roll out "euro" style and show 'em what is going on!

Hey Aeron, I sent Shane your way about Revo stuff, I assume he came out to the shop today and chatted with ya! I told him your the Revo man!

He had told me about the Euro show thingy too last weekend when I first met him. We'll definately have to make our presence known!

Sup guys,

I am the organizer/webmaster of the Euro-Sunday event in Missoula. The first even went well, nearly 20 cars showed up and 12 went on the cruise towards the hot springs. It was really a blast. Shane did get a rock chip though, but he got it sealed.

The next event is OCT 5th.. if the weather is permitting, I'm expecting about 30 cars or so. Obviously they all won't be European... because after-all... this is Missoula. It's better than nothing at all.

You can find out details about next summer on the site... I'm actually changing the event so it's the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month. I hate waiting a whole month.. and then having it rain would really suck. Let me know what you guys think, post on the guestbook and share your thoughts. I hope to see some VW's at the next event. We are all cruising to Seeley Lake.

CHANGED DATE: SEPTEMBER 28TH - THIS SUNDAY!

The weather is horrible on the original date... so we are meeting this Sunday @ 11 - Starbucks/Shopko. Hope to see you there.

That day is also the last autocross of the season, @ bigsky high school, so that is a conflict for me, as I am sponsoring the race. Most of the Subaru guys will be there, and the other "euro" guys also I believe. You might want to keep it on the 5th!

Yeah, I can't make that date either as I will be at the autocross even at Big Sky with most the other guys.

I'm liking the idea however!
