I still have CPO, so having a boost guage might blow my cover for certain things ive done to the car. It would be a good idea to VAG your car before you take it in for any kind of service. I had a Techtonics chip in mine, which raised the rev limiter a few hundred RPM. When I went over the stock re...

Nokian makes some pretty gnarly mountain bike tires. I've never experienced the car tires though. From what I hear they come highly recommended.

Who's fault is that?! :p

Actually one of the better 'mods' done to Sammy, I think. I am indetectable to photo radar and stoplight cameras! People keep asking what I did to my licence plate to remove the numbers, but nobody believes me when I tell them, LOL.

from what i understand is that you will need is both the exaust, and the intake off a 16v rocco, as the TB is on the drives side. The Scirocco intake manifold will put the air box on the same side as it is now, but that isn't required. I've seen it done both ways. Like LWB said, the 100mm axles are...

Ignore the wheel gap. The driveway it's parked on is way twisted.

Edit: Looks like I need a new picture. I've made some small changes since then.

A lil' advice

Hey man, just thought I'd throw in my two pennies. There are lots of ways to do the swap, it kinda depends on what you want to end up with. Rabbit engine mounts will be plenty strong for the 16V, so no worries there. What year is your parts car? If it's a '90-'92 (2.0 liter 9A motor) then it's most ...

Notice any funny smells? Maybe a bit like sulfur? If so your cat is clogged.

I've heard that the intake manifold is a bigger restriction than the head on the early 8V motors. Like you said, it can't hurt!
