Rode through the park today with the parental units. We took the same route as last year and everything was open and clear. Roads were good and all the sights were open. Only thing that was sketchy was the road between Tower/ Roosevelt and Mammoth, but its still the same as it was last year...shitty...

I thought vw's grinding gears was normal :banghead: . 1st to 2nd seems to grind at the most inopportune times. Slow shift away from a stop light...blammm grind.

Yea, if I keep the pickle and rebuild it I will definetly be getting a skid plate. DG seems to be the one to use for 12v's. I have already lost an oil pan to an ice chunk :banghead:
