Got up early and gave her a bath. Me and the wife took her up to Cars and Coffee for a while. She was in some pretty good company. The trim stuff still needs tidying up, I NEED to find the quarter flares and no luck so far. Put a new Wolfsburg emblem on the drivers side. Bla bla bla...pretty happy ...

Got the case cleaned up. Next is to send it out to my machinist. But for now, got some parts cleaned up. A few teaser before and afters. That isn't a vw engine. Though there was a company in san francisco, ca that put acvw engines in bmw motorcycles. That is an airplane engine.

Decede that I didn't want to hack up the wheel wells of this body like I did with the original for the beam so I took the beam out and notched the towers. Coated it with a good coat of undercoating and test fit. A litle massaging with a dead blow hammer and she was as good as new. http://i540.photob...
