Re: Going Beyond Bolt-ons: The CBCGSXR1000 story
If anything look up a video to it, but basically if the head is stripped it allows you to drill into the bolt with various sizes of drill bits, and then back the bolt out by wedging a EZ-out into the drilled area, and wrenching it back... bigger the bolt, bigger the size. But you could get to the po...

Re: Going Beyond Bolt-ons: The CBCGSXR1000 story
If the bolt threads are still good, and you have decent room(If you haven't already gotten them out yet). You could try drilling into them and extracting them with an EZ-out.
Pretty simple task, just drill bits, ez-outs, Vice grips, hammer.

Re: Path0s - MKV GTI & VR6 MKIV GTI
No, they're awaiting flakes from 1552. Hoping to get the hookup and have them powder coated black and be the only T-red MKIV & MKV's with 18" powder black flakes.
Along with that wanting Coils for roughly 700$ from 1552. They take care of you.

DSG TSB - Mechatronic Unit
Not sure who has actually heard about this, but this is being covered by dealerships by replacing a bushing I believe in the mechatronic unit and it's actually making it so we don't get the "jerky" feeling whenever you come off from a light or in reverse as if you're just cutting the fuel ...

Re: MKV + Wheels
haha, Yea... I know. Brad that owns 1552 is who came out with the RML's.
One of the guys that used to work for 1552, but now works for lutz automotive/HPF said I should get coils and flakes.
And it's tempting. Almost tempting to get all black flakes?

MKV + Wheels
If you could see a MKV on any set of wheels 18x8.5 et45, what would it be?
Right now my eyes are set on VMR V710's, matte black.
But, I want some voiced opinions.

Re: Montana's first authorized REVO tuning center~!
I have to get ahold of REVO with my ECU# to get an e-mail with a verification that the software was installed, 1552 didn't have the invoice copy anymore.

Re: Black Exhaust Tips??
I'm not sure if you got around to doing this dark, and I know this is an old post... but honestly they have high temp paints that are well up to 400 degrees, just do a semi gloss color. Probably a 2 gloss (1-3 scale) and then clear coat it with a high temp clear coat, and it will gloss it over real ...
