That spoiler lip would take about 1 min. to get off. It is only held by clips into the bumper cover. Grab it and pull straight out. its a 1996 jetta glx. motor type is 12v vr6 dont know if that part matters

so my front lip spoiler is gone well cracked to shit and looks horrible i really want to get that off and have started. but my question is do i haft to remove the bumber on the front it seems to look like its part of the front bumper any suggestion seeing as cosmetically i am stumped?
